Road Accident in Assam’s Morigaon – The victims, identified as Dr. Kontheswar Bordoloi and two health workers from Nagaon, died instantly after their vehicle lost control and crashed into a roadside railing
In a tragic incident, three health workers, including a doctor, lost their lives in a horrific road accident in Assam’s Morigaon district.
The deceased have been identified as Dr. Kontheswar Bordoloi, a doctor at Morigaon Civil Hospital, and health workers Manas Mahanta and Ashique Hussain, who were employed at a private clinic in Nagaon.
According to reports, the trio was travelling from Jagiroad to Nagaon when their vehicle suddenly lost control and rammed into a roadside railing. The collision was so severe that the vehicle was completely mangled beyond recognition, leaving no chance of survival.
All three occupants were killed on the spot due to the impact of the crash.
Local authorities and rescue teams rushed to the scene, and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination. The cause of the accident is yet to be officially confirmed, but preliminary reports suggest that overspeeding or loss of control could be factors.
The untimely deaths of Dr. Bordoloi and his colleagues have cast a pall of gloom over the medical community in Morigaon and Nagaon, with tributes pouring in from fellow doctors and health workers across Assam.
