Sony TV is set to air a special episode of the dance reality show Super Dancer Chapter 5, celebrating veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty’s 50 years in the Indian film industry. A recently released promo shows the legendary star setting the stage on fire with his energetic dance moves, joined by judge Shilpa Shetty on his iconic track “I Am A Disco Dancer.”

In the new promo, Mithun is seen singing the song and perfectly matching steps with Shilpa, while fellow judges Geeta Kapoor and Marzi Pestonji cheer them on. Sharing the teaser on Instagram, Sony TV wrote:

“Can’t wait for this amazing dance of Mithun Da and Shilpa. Dekhiye #SuperDancerChapter5 aaj raat 8 baje, sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision par aur SonyLIV par.”

All contestants of Super Dancer Chapter 5 paid tribute to Mithun Chakraborty by performing to his popular songs. One contestant even channeled Mithun Da, perfectly recreating his iconic look. Another teaser shows the veteran actor dancing with young contestant Aadhyayasree, who has been impressing the judges and audiences week after week.

Super Dancer Chapter 5 airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8 PM on Sony Entertainment Television.
